Despite all of his hopes to help the world, Zach detests the power-hungry. Zach hates narcissism, greed, ignorance, and prejudice. He cannot fathom how anyone could place themselves above any other living creature. Zach cannot stand stupid people, and their lack of intelligence annoys him far more than it would to a normal person. One of his biggest pet peeves, however, is Tex-Mex. He likes American and Mexican cuisine just fine, but the result of their combination usually sends him running to the toilet for hours afterwords.
From spending a week mastering a character for a film to filling notebook after notebook with musical notes, Zach enjoys living life. He loves a well-cooked steak so much that he is practically a carnivore. Zach is very protective of those he cares for most, particularly for his younger sisters, Lenore and Madison. They are the world to him, and he would do nearly anything for them if they asked. His loyalty is the one trait Zach prides himself on over all others. This trait has both given Zach the friendship and trust of many others, but it has also given him some powerful enemies. Then there is Zach's fascination with the high of falling in love, though he has been terrified of actually declaring the true extent of his feelings for any of the girls he has dated.

Overview: Jared and Maxine Taylor raised their first child and only son, Zachary Aiden Taylor, in Coral Ridge. The Taylors were a happy family full of love and laughter, and their example would always echo in Zachary's mind as he grew up. When Zach was six, the family welcomed their second child, Madison. While he loved his little sister, for the first few months after the baby was brought home, Zach could not help being a little jealous that he was not the center of his parents' attention anymore. It was at that time he began taking guitar lessons, at his mother's suggestion. Immediately he fell in love with the sound, and soon he started coming home with misspelled song lyrics on pieces of papers stained with juice.
A few months after he turned 10, Zachary's parents announced that they would be adopting another child. At first, Zach was hesitant, but when he finally met the 8 year old, Lenore, he immediately liked her. For the first time, he had to take a role as a protector. Lenore was shy and unsure, but Zachary did everything he knew to try to pull her out of her shell. He would read books to her, play her favorite songs, and he even wrote a song or two for her, trying to get her to smile. It was at that same time that Zach finally realized that he hadn't been the best big brother for Madison all those years before. Now he tried his best to include the youngest Taylor more often, playing hide-and-seek, coloring, even wrapping a comforter around him so he could be the evil wizard to be defeated by the magical princess. All the while, Zach entered middle school, where he hoped to join the band class. However, they declined him, saying that they only accepted classical musicians. Begrudgingly, Zachary enrolled in the choir instead. Little did he know he would find singing nearly as freeing as the guitar.
In high school, Zach expected his school, music and family life to keep going, but fate would have different plans. In this case, fate's name was Karly. She was a beautiful soprano and the darling star of the school's theatrical department. All it took was one bat of her long, beautiful eyelashes and Zach was auditioning to play the Romeo opposite her Juliet, and no, that wasn't a metaphor. The theater department had been struggling to get boys in their shows for years, so when the tall, musical Zachary walked in, everyone was jumping over each other trying to teach him everything and make him feel welcome so he would stay. He would have the male lead in every production the school held, while he and Karly started dating. In his free-time, Zach got together some friends and formed a band, where he played lead guitar and back-up vocals. Unfortunately, the band would fall apart bickering over whether or not they wanted to take an offer to play at their senior prom. In the end, Zach and Karly danced to a rookie DJ. That night, however, she told him that they had to break-up, so she could go to college with a fresh slate. They were bound for opposite shores: USC for her, Julliard for him. It was devastating for him.
That fall, Zachary moved to New York City to attend Julliard for Theater. As much as he loved the school, he despised the city. The hustle and bustle and skyscrapers made him yearn for home. Zach got his degree in three years and was immediately hired as an actor for a television drama series. For that, he moved out to Los Angeles.
While California was a slightly better fit for him than New York, Zach was not prepared for the life of fame. He received job offers frequently, for television series, for the stage, for film. The chaotic world of Hollywood burnt him out in less than a year. Zach found his release through music once again. On set one day, one of the producers caught him playing an original song in his dressing room and gave Zach the business card of a colleague who owned a record company. In a matter of months, Zach's first release topped the iTunes charts and his album sold out soon after. For the humble man, he was a bigger star than ever before. Unfortunately, that meant that the politics of being a celebrity now swirled around him. His final straw with the paparazzi came when a photo of him and Lenore hugging during a visit led to speculations that they were dating. Zach was outraged and decided the best thing he could do was get away from the source. He moved away from Los Angeles, back to Coral Ridge, where he got a modest condo near his family. While he still travels for filming frequently, Zach spends as much time as he can in the Coral Ridge, even convincing his record company to get a recording studio in the city. Despite all his fame, Zach really only wants a normal life, even though doing what he loves keeps that from ever being possible.

It had been a long night for Lady Hespera Crawford Aronwen. It had been 5 months since her last gala had been held at Priamdore Manor and, in her opinion, that was 4 months and 3 weeks too long. Wynfor had insisted his wife allow other members of the Pureblood Society arrange events for a time, claiming that the time spent in remembrance of her events and allow for comparison to the inadequate occasions held by others. Indeed, over the course of the evening, the rush of compliments seemed to have increased its current. Perhaps Wynfor's hypothesis would hold true.
In any case, the occasion of her second daughter's debutante ball proved to be deemed her well-awaited return to the role of hostess. While Diona was, in many ways, the daughter many women would dream of having, Hespera found the girl to have far too much of her father in her. What ever happened to the little girl who won 2023 Little Miss Wicked Witch? All the girls turned out the same. When they were younger, they were simpler, more predictable and easier to persuade. She was certain their Muggle-born loving school had much to do with the metamorphosis. If only they had done as she had and chosen their company at Hogwarts from the Purebloods exclusively. Muggle-borns and their philosophies about equality had no place in the minds of impressionable young ladies of stature. Even the lowest house elf comprehended that equality was an idea failed in infancy and existed only to give hope to those who had not the vision to see the world as it was. Scum were to always be scum, even when they were disguised in dress robes.
Despite the unusual number of hooligans amongst the guests, the ball had gone quite well thus far. Her remarks garnered praise from her clients. It had been structured like an Eva Perón speech to evoke emotional reaction with general ease. She had difficulty in hiding her pleasure in noting her daughter's suitor. That Castile boy her daughter had been fancying would have made Diona, and by extension the rest of the Aronwen clan, a laughingstock. Hespera could only hope that tonight one of the more suitable young men would strike Diona's fancy. The Aronwen matriarch even hoped to conjure amortentia and slip it into a gift from one of her colleague's sons, but was, alas, foiled by an inadequate supply of Ashwinder eggs.
After the final words were spoken by her daughter, Lady Hespera heard a familiar whisper in her ear. Sierra Clarke, her assistant, informed the matriarch that there was an issue in the kitchens with the chef and that her presence was needed. Bidding a slight nod of respectful farewell to the guests in her immediate vicinity, she glided behind her blonde assistant out of the ballroom and to the servants' stairs. Down she disappeared into the spiraled stairs until she emerged into the heated beehive of the manor's kitchen. A pudgy man with bulging eyes who resembled a bullfrog swerved through the workers to greet the lady. Out of breath he flailed his hands, crying, "An egregious disparagement, madam! These.. these, imbeciles do not know the first thing about true cuisine! I ask for duck à l'orange hors d'oeuvres and your staff have the audacity of asking whether the bird was to be grilled or roasted!" A lesser woman would have rolled her eyes, though Hespera could not help but agree with the French chef she had flown in for the occasion.
It seemed the disagreement would not be easy to diffuse, even for the great problem-solver herself. A considerable amount of time passed where obscenities in English and French were flung about like an unseemly verbal food fight. With no way of telling the time, Hespera became so absorbed in the process that she did not realize that her husband had entered the room until five minutes after he had done so. He asked what had been keeping her, to which she smiled and responded slickly, "A little fowl, is all. I would hope that our guests only receive the finest and most.... authentic French cuisine our chef has to offer." She walked toward Wynfor and took his arm, "But the matter has found a resolution. I'm sure the young ones upstairs are doing quite fine with one or two less chaperones." As the walked back to the staircase, Hespera instructed Sierra to remain in the kitchens should any other trouble ensue then escorted her husband back to the ballroom. Coming to the entrance, the hired announcer for the evening exclaimed against the music, "My Lord and Lady Aronwen have returned," so that the guests who were close to the ballroom entrance could hear of their hosts' return.
