The two main races- Vampires and Werewolves- live in relative harmony, besides the normal scuffle over turf. The humans don't believe in any of them, and if they do, they are called mental or assumed to be drunk or high- in some cases even both. They live in Ataraxia, the large city just outside of Seattle. It is always damp and dreary- the sun doesn't dare show it's face to warm these hills and dense forests. Grandmas and Grandpas tell their grandkids stories of the supernatural beings that they live side by side with, but does anyone really believe someone who has long lost their mind to Alzhiemers?
