Likes: solitude, music, the fans, dark colors, standing out in crowds, drinking, smoking, roses

Traits: intelligent and well-spoken; quirky, sarcastic, witty, snarky, night owl, stubborn, energetic, dedicated, aloof, impulsive, emotional, creative
Overview: The first thing many notice about this rocker is (aside from his appearance), his deadpan snarker sarcasm. He has a unique sort of humor, dark at times and insulting every now and again, but still intelligent. He says what he wants to say, and is well-known for never sugar coating the matters at hand. Though this makes him good at organizing things and fixing problems, he himself is far from organized. His thoughts are constantly racing and usually unconnected, somehow managing to function quicky enough to supply his wit. He is, however, easily distracted and very impulsive - sometimes his words aren't so much wit as the first thing that comes to mind. He runs on logic and emotion equally, though he can be very irrational. It's definitely emotion that drives him to drink and smoke, and it's emotion behind the music he's known for.
He lives for his music and his band, Grey Star. Sir is dedicated to that and the fans - one of the few projects he can focus on for more than ten minutes. Luckily, songwriting just comes naturally to him, provided he's feeling something. He has no problem finding something to feel about, either, but that's a whole different story. He's the type that welcomes the fame, and it's what his self esteem is hinged on. After all, who could get away with waking up at an hour past noon every day and drinking until they fell asleep again, except a successful musician? Nobody; but he knows he'd still do that, so it could be said that his life really does depend on his music. His only emotional comittments are to his bandmates, as he hasn't ever cared for love songs or the heartbreak songs that are sure to follow. That is to say, he's very cynical about love. He's perfectly content with sitting alone in his room or living his life to the fullest onstage. In fact, onstage he displays a certain energy and eloquence that, although present in him otherwise, is never so obvious as it is when he's in the spotlight.
He's stuck in his ways for good, that including his addictive personality. Caffeine, alcohol, smoking - whatever he tries, if it's addictive, he'll be stuck on it. Despite his impulsive nature, he knows enough to steer clear of hard drugs. Osirus doesn't crave attention offstage, but he sure doesn't hide from it. Sure, one wouldn't see him at the beach (especially not in sunlight, as that would require waking up at a decent time, and he's protective of his pale complexion), but bars or clubs? Just because he's certain he's a trainwreck waiting to happen doesn't mean he can't party a little and lend his fans some time out of his afternoon/night. Those that meet him often walk away with a little more knowledge about the man behind the music, his quirks and his intelligence being popular topics (such as his favorite phrases, "oh man" and "wicked cool,"), but he's just as likely to turn the conversation towards his bandmates. He likes to have fun with the fans, and even those that haven't even heard of him; complimenting them, teasing them, and flirting.

Overview: This American modern rockstar, surprisingly, wasn't even born in America. Rather, his story starts in cold Toronto, Canada - on October 31st, to be exact. Sir's parents were a quirky bunch - his mother, Bastet, came from a long line of Egyptian names and Egyptian blood, and found her calling in life with a paintbrush and a new dress for every art exhibition she was he star of. Sir's father, Joshua "Arachne", had been born and raised in the Toronto area and was about as smart as a basket of pancakes, and about the same maturity level as a basket of pancakes too. Their child, as he grew up in this odd but happy family, showed traits of both parents. Physically, he favored his father - the same blue eyes, the same pale skin, the same somewhat feminine features (though having a very beautiful mother didn't help the poor kid's case) - but it wasn't very obvious in the beginning. His hair, black as coal and soon Sir's favorite thing about himself, was all his mother's doing however. The same went for his personality and, thankfully, his mind possessed all the creativity of his abstract artist mother.
Osirus had loads of trouble in school. The first problem was, nobody was sure what was wrong with him, if anything. He couldn't pay attention in class, but he only did worse when he was given help. As a child, the boy had dramatic mood swings as well, and his snarky personality just couldn't be contained for one whole class period, let alone one school day. He was very intelligent, but he simply learned in a way that couldn't be catered to. He was eventually expelled for fighting, which wasn't a usual problem for him, but he had always been stubborn and a little prone to acting before thinking. And also, getting himself smacked around for running his mouth. After that event, and after he recovered from the broken ribs, Osirus was homeschooled and largely self taught. In his spare time, he ran around the neighborhood, grounded or not. He had few friends, but he was as happy as a sixteen year old boy could be. It was about at that time those few friends he had had a bright idea: a band! After several names were discussed and tried, the name Silver Star won out. They seemed to have no talent at first, and especially not Sir, who wasn't quite sure how an electric guitar worked. But he got the hang of it with practice, and soon he was dedicated to his instrument. When the lead vocalist at the time fell ill, Osirus decided he wanted to try singing...
And the rest, so he says, is history. The band decided they wanted to keep Sir at the front, and with a new frontman came a new name - Grey Star. The change brought discovery by a record company at long last. Grey Star quickly blew up on the rock scene, and as they did they left Toronto and gradually headed down America before settling in Coral Ridge. Osirus didn't really need to change his lifestyle, except he did have to be sober on tours and onstage.

Roleplay Sample:
The girl was bored and unable to find what she was looking for. As usual, she needed excitement - which at the moment, could not be achieved in the usual way. There were no parties, but the nymph's mind craved the overdoses and bustle of loud music and bright lights. She was dressed nice, looked nice, her hair was nice... Yet she was all dressed up with nowhere to go. She paced about her house, Starla on her heels; the feline's big green eyes always drew Osirus in, from the moment she'd spotted the little cotton ball at the shelter. Now a long-haired and still very playful adult, the cat was bigger and could actually be left alone for a few hours. But you're not too old to be hugged! And so, Starla accompanied her owner on a walk through the house, taking her favorite seat in the house - that being safely in the pink-haired girl's slender arms. Where to go, where to go... Perhaps the candy shop? But I need to watch my weight... Even though she didn't actually need to watch her weight. Maybe the mirror could tell her.
And so the girl set Starla down and examined herself in the mirror. Dark and yet twinkling eyes - the eyes of intelligence - gazing from a pale face, flawless in most regards save the "beauty mark" upon her cheek. She didn't think it was that beautiful, but oh well. A tight corset top, black in color, showing off the body that apparently needed to be watched. Long and luxurious hair, so soft and healthy one would figure pink was a natural color rather than a dye. Knee-high heeled boots (actually, a little over her knees), at least making the short-statured girl feel better about herself in that way. It felt good to loom over others, but at 5'4", maybe 5'7" in the heels she was wearing, hardly anyone worth looming over was an option. Her skirt had a little of the gothic flair Sir sometimes included in her wardrobe, with chains hanging from it. Her right arm and ears were walking product placements, having various wristbands to express her tastes and her earrings were definitely DC in origin. Maybe one thing was missing... She needed excitement, and what made her happy? Doing things her mother wouldn't approve of. And her mother wouldn't ever approve of body modification. The corset piercings were bad enough, and thank the almighty whatever that legally Osirus could no longer be grounded. But now that the girl thought about it, she wanted more. A smirk was seen in the mirror as the girl turned around to get her bag.
Three minutes later, she was walking along, going off of memory to locate where she thought she maybe remembered seeing a place vaguely like what she needed... And her memory rarely failed, as she had a way of noticing things. Little things that just stayed in her mind when she looked at a mental image. She remembered exactly where to turn, exactly where the dead thing had been two weeks ago... It had since been cleaned up, but the girl still wanted to avoid the lingering smell. She'd worked quite hard on making herself smell like strawberries and sugar! She would have taken a car, but she just loved the activity of walking. Especially since the weather was nice and spring had returned. How rude of her would it be to not greet the new season of life? Although nature was not her particular gift, she understood the bonds between a nymph and their element, and knew that many of her metaphorical sisters and brothers would be pleased about this time. That, and spring break. And summer break wasn't too far away! It felt odd no longer having anything to look forward to during the summer, aside from warm summer nights. The prospect of laying on her roof in a comfortable dress to watch the moon was delicious, like an exotic fruit; yet welcoming, like... Like, well, a comfortable dress.
Hey, this place looks about right. The girl entered, greeted by the tinkle of a bell. Lurking there was a rather interesting figure with long, black hair. He sort of reminded the girl of her brother, except her brother was short, and blonde, and had short hair and brown eyes... Okay, maybe she missed Seth. But no matter, because those eyes that missed nothing soon caught sight of the guy's shirt. "Hey, I like that band too." She nodded her head his way, taking an extra second to add his face to her book of People That Offer Services.
